Our Mission- S+L Abbotsford

This location was done in tandem with the South Surrey S+L location, though the target dates were staggered by 3-weeks. Our target was to make minor changes to the already existing kitchen and bar space, just cosmetic primarily. There was a new oyster station and relocation of the main bar which would require coordination with the property management and the tenant below.A few consultant obstacles as there were certain existing upgrades that were needing to be navigated, like pipe leaks and drain issues. A full water proofing system was necessary to correct this issue.

This location required a meticulous approach as there were many moving parts. This space was above an operating tenant unit below and part of a strata complex which required proper planning for working hours. Trade coordination was also very critical on this project. I recall our team needing to run  new draft and pop lines that was over 130’ run to the new bar. The exterior team did a great job while navigating the signage that was mounted on the existing roof-line. The signage can be seen from the hwy-1 freeway.
