Our Mission- The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar
This one was special. Those who didn’t know this location was previously the original Oak & Thorne pub, which was one of my first full permitted projects. Also having grown-up in Walnut Grove, this had alot of meaning to me. This project was primarily a cosmetic build as this Forno Bravo fire pizze oven was installed when we did the pub, there was also an existing bar area. The space would get a face lift from the booth seating & configuration, wall and floor treatments to the ViP table ”Chef-table” located in the kitchen.
Our Team
We provided the client with a design to build service. The work was basically taken from ideas to reality. Minimal. drawings, just inspirational photos. We helped to navigate the Liqour Board, Fraser Health and fire department as the new floorplan would reflect new changes. This was a fun project as it involved being creative and innovative to create some of the decorative features of the space.
Signature Areas
This space was definitely a breath of fresh air. The design to construction was very organic. From the moment you open the doors the space screams culture. The vestibule area has decorative Italian plates with custom slogans on all 45 of them. The opposite wall has a 3d like image of the famous movie ”The Godfather”.
Once you get into the main diner area this is where the memories happen. The space has many eye catching areas from the Pope mural as a super hero to the neons throughout the room. Definitely a place to check out.
New Italian Osteria & Cheese bar
